On September 5, 2015, I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of my brother-in-law, Steven, and his fiancé, Jess, at The Rosendale pub in West Dulwich. As a wedding photographer based in Reigate, Surrey, I was thrilled to head to South London for a change, my aim? To capture candid and natural moments that reflected the couple's love for each other, nothing more. Oh yeah, and a drink and a knees up is always fun too!
Nestled in West Dulwich and dating back to the 1850s, the choice of The Rosendale pub as the venue added a touch of old-world charm to the day, complementing the couple's dress code and style and enhancing their desire for narrative-driven documentary wedding photography.
The wedding was a heartfelt celebration of the couple's adoration for one another and by focusing on natural shots that showcased the joyful atmosphere of the event, I'm confident I captured moments that will beautifully portray their wedding for many years to come. From stolen glances to heartfelt laughter, every photograph encapsulates the depth of their feelings for one another, their family and friends and the joy that surrounded them.
